Seamless Money Transfer with P2P Payments
At Palmetto Health Credit Union, we make transferring money to family, friends, or anyone else a breeze with our person-to-person (P2P) payment services, which is located within our bill pay platform.
With our P2P payment services, once you’ve added someone as a payee, you can transfer money to anyone with just a few taps on your smartphone or from your computer. No more waiting for checks to clear or worrying about carrying cash. Money will be deposited into their account usually within 1-2 business days.
Simply follow the steps below to enroll in P2P or add another payee:
Enroll in Bill Pay through our Online Banking. Please be aware that you may only send money from a checking account.
Once enrolled in Bill Pay, click on ‘Pay a Person’ within the Bill Pay platform or under the menu icon of our mobile banking app
Select the email or text message option to notify the payee of a pending transfer
Once you‘ve selected the payment method, you’ll need to create the payee profile and choose a keyword you’ll provide to the payee
As an additional security method, you’ll receive a verification message either by phone or email verifying that you’ve added a new payee.
Once verified, the payee will receive either a text or email message asking them to enter the keyword that you created and their account information so the money can be transferred to their account.
